On Thursday, January 29th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. (Swedish time), the 8th consecutive meeting with Catechumens and newly illumined faithful will take place at the premises of the Saint George Cathedral of Stockholm (Birger Jarlsgatan 92, 114 20 Stockholm).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entrance is from the church driveway!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Eminence Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden and All Scandinavia will serve as the speaker, addressing the participants in the English language, in order to accommodate the diverse group of Catechumens and newly baptized and chrismated faithful, who come from various countries and cultural backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Eminence\u2019s upcoming presentation is entitled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201ca) \u201cNew Year: From Secular to Sacred Time\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

b) \u201cVasilopita and New Year\u2019s Traditions, from Antiquity to the Present Day.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation will last for an hour, followed by a dinner at the Cathedral Fellowship Hall, in honor of the Catechumens and all those in attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
