We are thrilled to announce the very first GOYS Summer Camp of our Metropolis \u2014 a wonderful opportunity for our youth, to come together in faith, fun, and fellowship!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dates: June 12\u201314, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Location: a beautiful lakeside scout camping ground in Gnesta<\/strong>, approximately 1 hour from Stockholm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Facility: the facility consists of six different buildings with a total of 34 beds and we will have the entire facility to ourselves (see photos).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travel to and from the camp: Campers and chaperones will meet at the Stockholm central station and will take the train to the Gnesta together (indicative camp schedule for the weekend can be found below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants: Youth (ages 12\u201318) from our parishes across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cost: SEK 600 per person, including accommodation for 2 night and all meals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What to expect:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Divine Liturgy with His Eminence Metropolitan Cleopas & His Grace, Bishop Bartholomew<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Learning on Orthodox faith through games<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Outdoor adventures, games, team-building, nature walks, swimming & Swedish summer vibes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Delicious fellowship meals, bonfires, music, and cultural sharing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Time to socialize and make lifelong friends in Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a milestone for our GOYS Youth Ministry and the start of what we hope will become an annual tradition of summer spiritual renewal in Scandinavia’s stunning nature!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plats: en vacker sj\u00f6n\u00e4ra scoutcamp i Gnesta<\/strong>, cirka 1 timme fr\u00e5n Stockholm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anl\u00e4ggningen: Anl\u00e4ggningen best\u00e5r av sex olika byggnader med totalt 34 b\u00e4ddar och vi kommer att ha hela anl\u00e4ggningen f\u00f6r oss sj\u00e4lva (se bilder).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resa till och fr\u00e5n l\u00e4gret: Deltagare och ledare m\u00f6ts p\u00e5 Stockholm Centralstation och \u00e5ker tillsammans med t\u00e5g till Gnesta (indikativt l\u00e4gerschema f\u00f6r helgen finns nedan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deltagare: Ungdomar (12\u201318 \u00e5r) fr\u00e5n v\u00e5ra f\u00f6rsamlingar i hela Sverige, Norge, Danmark och Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
