We are thrilled to announce the very first GOYS Summer Camp of our Metropolis — a wonderful opportunity for our youth, to come together in faith, fun, and fellowship!
Dates: June 12–14, 2026
Location: a beautiful lakeside scout camping ground in Gnesta, approximately 1 hour from Stockholm.
The Facility: the facility consists of six different buildings with a total of 34 beds and we will have the entire facility to ourselves (see photos).
Travel to and from the camp: Campers and chaperones will meet at the Stockholm central station and will take the train to the Gnesta together (indicative camp schedule for the weekend can be found below).
Participants: Youth (ages 12–18) from our parishes across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland.
Cost: SEK 600 per person, including accommodation for 2 night and all meals.
What to expect:
• Divine Liturgy with His Eminence Metropolitan Cleopas & His Grace, Bishop Bartholomew
• Learning on Orthodox faith through games
• Outdoor adventures, games, team-building, nature walks, swimming & Swedish summer vibes
• Delicious fellowship meals, bonfires, music, and cultural sharing
• Time to socialize and make lifelong friends in Christ.
This is a milestone for our GOYS Youth Ministry and the start of what we hope will become an annual tradition of summer spiritual renewal in Scandinavia’s stunning nature!

Heliga Metropolen av Sveriges sommarläger
Vi är oerhört glada över att kunna meddela det allra första GOYS sommarlägret i vår metropol – en underbar möjlighet för vår ungdom att samlas i tro, nöje och gemenskap!
Datum: 12–14 juni 2026
Plats: en vacker sjönära scoutcamp i Gnesta, cirka 1 timme från Stockholm.
Anläggningen: Anläggningen består av sex olika byggnader med totalt 34 bäddar och vi kommer att ha hela anläggningen för oss själva (se bilder).
Resa till och från lägret: Deltagare och ledare möts på Stockholm Centralstation och åker tillsammans med tåg till Gnesta (indikativt lägerschema för helgen finns nedan).
Deltagare: Ungdomar (12–18 år) från våra församlingar i hela Sverige, Norge, Danmark och Island.
Kostnad: 600 SEK per person, inklusive boende i 2 nätter och alla måltider.

• Gudomlig liturgi tillsammans med Hans Högvördighet Metropolit Kleopas & Hans Nåd Biskop Bartholomaios
• Lärande om den ortodoxa tron genom lekar
