Dearly Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
On behalf of all of you, I wholeheartedly welcome His Eminence Metropolitan Bartholomew of Polyani and Kilkis, together with his entourage, to the Saint George Cathedral of Stockholm, expressing our gratitude for his visit, his participation in the Divine Liturgy and Doxology, and his steadfast fraternal support of our Metropolis since his election in 2021.
I acknowledge his many years of service to the Church of Greece and emphasized the close bond between the people of Kilkis and our community, many of whose members trace their roots to that region.
Please let me mention the spiritual bond between the Metropolis of Polyani and Kilkis, the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and our Orthodox flock in Scandinavia, wishing His Eminence and his companions a pleasant stay, and kindly invite him to address the faithful on the anniversary of October 28th.
We are also honored to welcome the new Greek Ambassador His Excellency Mr. Nikolaos Sapountzis.
